About the role


Ventia have an opportunity for a hardworking and experienced Supervisor to join lead our concrete crew in achieving assigned work and ensuring they are done within the given time frame.


This role will be responsible for the on-site supervision of a team of motivated and skilled individuals, working together to meet or exceeds client expectations.


About you


You will have demonstrated experience in building and managing effective construction teams with preferred experience looking after a concrete crew. You will preferably have great skill in the use and care of hand small power tools. Carpentry experience/trade is an advantage.


This is a hands on role so you must be able to move freely about construction sites – this will include working through rough terrain,lift project management equipment (i.e. survey gear) and QA testing tools and materials.


Valid NZ Drivers licence Class 1-4 necessary, Class 5 and WTR preferred and experience driving

appropriate vehicles in all road and weather conditions


Intermediate to advanced computer literacy i.e. Microsoft Office and Project as well as considerable

knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools and equipment used in concrete construction and maintenance are also key to your success in this role.
