This is a role that will allow you to apply your existing Copper Technician skills and experience with a company who can offer career development either within telecommunications or across a wide range of other industry sectors.

 

To be successful in this role, it will be advantageous to have a reasonable level of physical fitness and dexterity, excellent practical/mechanical hand skills, very good mathematical and analytical abilities, excellent vision and a willingness to work at heights.

 

Experience/Qualifications

  • Qualified Telecommunications Technician with Copper network experience
  • An appreciation for adherence to Health and Safety requirements and policies in a physical and potentially hazardous work environment is essential.
  • Experience as OP/First time fix/NGA techician
  • Experience in Telecommunications copper build. 
  • Basic computer literacy is preferable – e.g. use of tablets and laptops for processing work orders and reporting on common software programmes.
  • A valid driver’s license is essential.

 

Short-listed candidates must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical, which includes a drug and alcohol test and a Ministry of Justice check.
