Clothing Stores are primary logistic functions characterised by the process of Sales and Issue of Clothing and Personal Equipment (C&PE); Medal Mounting; Tailoring and Operational Kitting skills. Internal movement of Freight is also involved.

These services are provided to Defence individuals and Defence elements.



The Role

Broadspectrum are currently looking to engage a Seamsperson for the NCSS contract to assist with the daily tailoring requirements of its Wagga store. The Seamsperson ensures that all elements of the NCSS tailoring contract within the base are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements and appropriate Defence and Broadspectrum Services Policy.


Primary Responsibilities

The Seamsperson will be responsible for all apparel modifications for in service defence personnel and their dependants on base.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Minimum three years’ experience as a Seamsperson
Experience within the Defence sector (highly regarded)
Demonstrated IT proficiency, management and organisational skills
Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level
