Easternwell is proud to be one of Australia's leading Well Servicing and Drilling Contractors, operating under long term contracts with Australia's largest resource owners.

With our oil and gas well servicing and drilling operations expanding this year, an opportunity has arisen for a Fitter/Machinist to join our town based workshop.  
 
About the Role


This position will report to the Workshop Superintendent and will be responsible for supporting the fit out, refurbishment and building of drilling and well servicing equipment in our Toowoomba Workshop. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
•    Carrying out manufacture and installation of mechanical and non-mechanical components on drilling and well servicing equipment
•    Carrying out all fitter/machinist work as required in a safe, timely and cost effective manner
•    Performing repairs in accordance with legislative and manufacturers requirements
 
What’s Needed?


•    Trade qualification
•    1 – 2 years post trade experience
•    Good physical condition & strength
•    AutoCAD experience is preferable but not essential
•    Ability to read plans & schematics  
•    Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Experience in supporting well servicing and drilling rig operations will be rated highly, but is not essential.

Please note, this is a Toowoomba based workshop position, and we will require the successful person to reside locally. No relocation or travel assistance is able to be offered for this role.
