Are you an experienced Senior Planner, looking for an opportunity to take your career to the next level? We currently have an immediate opportunity for you based in our North Sydney office.

The role will require you to:

  • Produce accurate and timely Plans/Schedules, for pre-contracts (tenders), within Infrastructure and Resources Industries for Construction and Maintenance delivery.
  • Supervise Planning Resources on Tenders to effectively manage workloads and deliverables
  • Facilitate internal (& external, as required) Plan review Meetings
  • Provide ad-hoc guidance, advice and training for Planners 
  • Ensure Planner compliance to the Corporate Planning Standards and Processes
  • Facilitate Planner training in Company HSE&Q Processes and Procedures
  • Study tender/scope documents and prepare Planning documentation as required
  • Participate in Tender teams in preparation of Plans for Construction and/or maintenance activities.
  • Engage with Operational teams to build most cost-effective delivery solution
  • Engage with Estimators to synchronize estimate and delivery plan
  • Provide input in the preparation of RFQ enquiry documents to send out to subcontractors/vendors.
  • Evaluate subcontract/vendor schedules and plans for delivery 
  • Prepare and maintain Plan and Basis of Plan (BoP) document and WBS.
  • Prepare and maintain all Tender Documentation relative to Plan
  • Perform other duties as required and directed by the Line Management

Your skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or associated relevant experience.
  • 5+ Yrs. Planning experience in the Industry associated with this position 
  • Multi-Discipline Planning Experience 2+ Yrs. 
  • Advanced use and understanding of Primavera P6 a minimum requirement.
  • Intermediate/advanced use and understanding of MS Project a requirement.
  • Facilitation & Presentation of Plan Reviews at Operational & Middle Management level
  • Demonstrated Leadership of discipline Planners
  • Strong communication skills and methods to communicate information and ideas effectively and appropriately
  • Demonstrates ability to systematically break down multi-dimensional problems or processes into easily understood concepts or component parts. Draws on a broad range of internal & external factors when solving problems. 
  • Demonstrates the confidence and flexibility to work under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment
