Reporting to the Contract Compliance Manager the purpose of the National Compliance Coordinator is to provide assistance to the Defence Contracts, in meeting and exceeding contract compliance obligations in the training qualifications and competency management portfolios, by ensuring contract obligations are met for all Defence contracts; develop improvements and innovative solutions in the training qualifications and competency management portfolios aligned to best industry practice and future Defence needs. Provide support to the extended Compliance team as required.
The person we are looking for will have:
- Previous experience in learning record maintenance within Learning Management System is highly desirable.
- Completed tertiary education, diploma level or higher is preferred.
- Experience in various IT systems and development of IT systems is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse national, cultural, linguistic and religious/spiritual backgrounds and to deal with sensitive issues in a manner that is respectful of people’s individual dignity, cultural values and religious beliefs
- Results focused with the ability to identify and prioritise problems and issues, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong ability to work in a busy and demanding environment both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience working with large amounts of data.
- Strong analytical and data manipulation skills including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Strong ability to deliver to deadlines and work under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation, energy, initiative and commitment, with the capacity to deal with multiple and often conflicting priorities.
- Equally able to engage with a remotely located team support and guidance.
Special conditions:
- A valid Australian drivers’ licence for the state/territory in which the role is located
- Ability to travel interstate/territory
- The incumbent to this role must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Baseline. As a result of this requirement the incumbent must be an Australian Citizen.
