We are currently seeking a mechanically-minded Plant and Warehouse Coordinator to work on our longstanding Eastlink contract. This permanent role will have you working from our base in Ringwood and occasionally from our Scoresby depot and involves overseeing a wide range of specialised fleet and road assets in an ongoing position with a competitve salary.   

The responsibilities of the position will also include;


  • Ensuring tools, materials and consumables are stored in a secure and safe manner and the security of the stores is maintained.
  • Purchasing and goods receipting of all direct stores related items.
  • Working with the Pre-Works Technicians to coordinate the repair and servicing of all vehicles, plant and equipment, monitoring conditions and compliance, plan and facilitate the replacement of vehicles and plant including non-compliant or non-fit for purpose items.
  • Liaising with other BRS resource and others as required during evaluation and purchase of new plant and equipment to ensure it meets the business and operational needs.
  • Maintaining customer files and ensuring all issues, receipts and other communications are recorded accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure day to day functions of the issues area are performed accurately
  • Drive a culture of delivering customer and shareholder value.

Required Skills and Competencies:


  • Stores and Plant management and planning skills.
  • Computerised purchasing and inventory experience.
  • Demonstrated sound technical knowledge in matters pertaining to plant management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in use of MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Expertise and experience with procurement in an operational environment.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
  • Current Fork Lift and Heavy Truck Licence would be desirable.

Special Conditions:


  • Will be required to work outside normal business hours from time to time.
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia (citizenship or visa sponsorship).
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a National Police Clearance.
