Based at the Puckapunyal Military Area, Broadspectrum are currently seeking experienced and qualified Chefs and Cooks who are looking to advance their career. These permanent new roles will be located at our thriving defence base over in Puckapunyal, where we have a range of modern and recently refurbished dining facilities and large production kitchens. Along with the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment with working hours that contribute to a positive lifestyle balance, these positions will also provide the foundations of long-term career progression within our company.

There are a number of both part-time and full-time options available, and with easy access to local highways, our location is also the perfect option for those living in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne (Craigieburn, Sunbury, Whittlesea among others).

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Manage and deliver meal services in consultation with the Head Chef
  • Utilise your experience & culinary expertise to prepare meals for our Defence customers
  • Ensure the kitchen operations are managed in line with HACPP requirements
  • Provide day to day support and guidance to all kitchen staff

Skills and Experience

  • Commercial cookery certificate III or equivalent
  • Good understanding of HACCP
