About the role:

The purpose of the HSEQ Manager is to ensure the safety of all Parklea Correctional Complex (PCC) Inmates, staff and visitors through fit-for-purpose policies, work practices, systems and infrastructure.  This role will be accountable for maintaining effective and appropriate health and safety policies and procedures throughout the facility.

Skills & Experience:

You must be skilled in delivering positive outcomes and results in a complex correctional environment. You will be an excellent people person with strong interpersonal skills, personal values that show a recognition that people can change and an ability to embrace diversity and to have a relentless focus on delivery and doing the right thing. In addition, we will be looking for:


  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Significant operational experience managing services to the justice and corrections sector
  • The demonstration of “constructive” leadership skills by bringing people on board and believing in your vision

  • Demonstrate resilience in the face of adversity
