The role:
Broadspectrum is seeking an experienced manager to lead the Joint Logistics Unit (East) business of its Defence Maintenance & Support Services contract, based in Moorebank.
Put simply, this role is to lead the day to day workshop-based activities of the contract in the N.S.W region to ensure safe and smooth operation and ensure contract performance objectives (e.g. financial, quality and KPI’s) are achieved or exceeded.
Your application will display:
- Experience in managing large, diverse organisations, either through a trade or tertiary background.
- An ability to manage contract performance within safety, time, cost, productivity, financial performance, quality and customer service parameters which meet or exceed the requirements of contract.
- Strong communication skills.
- An ability to drive innovation and business improvements.
- A willingness to learn from and adapt to challenging situations
- A collaborative approach with workforce and client.
Desirable qualities:
- A working knowledge of defence roles and functions.
