Broadspectrum in partnership with the Australian Defence Force are seeking an Environmental Services Manager to join our Defence Base Contract. With a focus on promoting sustainable development. We are seeking an environmental specialist experience in developing, implement and monitoring environment strategies, policies and programs.

Responsibilities include:

  • examine activities to establish where improvements can be made and ensure compliance with environmental legislation
  • Ensure timely development and delivery of key landscape management programs, including but not limited to: bushfire, weed, feral & overabundant native species, groundwater / surface water and tree risk management
  • Development and implementation of innovative, environmentally sustainable development solutions for the group including sustainable asset management, green procurement and waste management
  • Leading the implementation of environmental policies and practices.
  • Provide assistance in the development, implementation and maintenance of environmental management and sustainable development plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation; investigate environmental incidents as required
  • Assist in business development activities including strategic planning and tender documentation preparation

To be considered you will possess the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
  • Facilities Management industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Project/Program Management
  • Environmental Science degree or relevant qualifications
  • Ability to use GIS and mobile data capture to record / observe environmental data
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
