An opportunity has come about for a project coordinator or project administrator with RAMM experience for our Hamilton roads team. We would love to have a robust, organised and tech savvy individual as part of this team. This is a new position and a high performing, highly inclusive environment means the role isn't for the faint hearted, but we have plenty of room for you to grow and progress.

 

What's in it for me?

 

This is a new position which has been identified as an area which can improve the delivery of our roads maintenance and construction works in Waikato. We have not yet established robust planning systems for our Hamilton branch so you will have the opportunity to build and introduce your own systems. You will be coordinating activities related to a variety of transport and civil maintenance and construction projects and will be joining a growing team with a record of success in the provision of engineering and construction services to the NZTA and local councils  


The role


As well as coordinating, you will be assisting in producing daily, weekly and monthly management dashboards. In this role you will work closely with the branch manager, the contract delivery manager, the construction manager, project managers, the professional services manager, site managers and the design and records departments. You will develop and implement exception reports as required and attend client meetings. This doesn't mean you have to have the exact experience as mentioned, but someone who has a solid administrative background who is willing to learn.
 

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  • Previous experience as a project coordinator or similar
  • Previous experience or an interest in the construction sector
  • RAMM experience preferred
  • An interest in stepping up and commitment to learning and self-improvement
  • A strong Health & Safety culture
  • Strong Microsoft Office capabilities
  • Great Communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Exceptional Stakeholder management skills
  • SAP ECC6 experience an advantage but not essential
