Cyclic Road Maintenance Patrol Person - Hamilton

Broadspectrum currently holds the West Waikato South Roads Maintenance contract and we are currently seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Cyclic Maintenance Patrol Person.




In this role workers are in teams of two and perform cyclic maintenance duties such as routine sign maintenance, incident response, clearing kerb & channel and cesspits, filling potholes, checking and clearing culverts & litter collection




As the ideal candidate, you will have 2 to 3 years of proven work experience in road maintenance. No formal qualifications are required, but basic handyman/maintenance skills are a definite advantage. STMS qualifications are also an advantage.


You will need to be experienced or qualified in:

  • Basic maintenance and construction equipment
  • Safe use of chainsaw
  • Elevated work platform vehicle
  • Maintenance plant equipment


As this is a physical, manual role, you will need to be physically fit – the job requires digging, heavy lifting, prolonged periods of walking, standing, and bending.


Minimum requirements are a valid Class 2 drivers license with WTR endorsement
