The Role

Due to internal movements Broadspectrum are currently looking to engage a number of qualified, experienced Firefighters. This position will see you located at RAAF Gingin in a full time rostered position within a well-established team. This position is a Monday to Friday role.


  • To maintain an effective operational readiness in accordance with the relevant procedures
  • Respond to incidents as required at the applicable fire station
  • Ensure that all relevant administrative duties associated with the operational aspect of the applicable fire station are performed
  • Participate in the applicable stations training and development plan 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hold Certificate II in Public Safety 20613(Firefighting & Emergency Operations) & Certificate III in Public Safety 30613 (Firefighting & Emergency Operations)
  • PUAFIR204B  Respond to Wildfire
  • PUAFIR205B  Respond to Aviation Incidents (Specialist) 
  • PUAFIR309B  Operate Pumps
  • PUAVEH001B  Drive Vehicles under operational conditions
  • PUAFIR305B Respond to Aviation Incidents (General)
  • PUAFIR209B Work Safely Around Aircraft
  • PUASAR024B Undertake Road Accident Rescue
  • Maintain a Level II First Aid certificate
  • A proven track record for performance and professionalism within the fire industry

 You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Department of Defence Security Clearance.
