HR Advisor

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced HRAdvisor, on a temporary basis of approximately 6 months to support our Court Security and Custodial Services contract, working from our site office in Canning Vale.

Working as part of a site-based operational team in a fast-paced environment, you will utilise your HR and ER experience to support and guide our people leaders and ensure contract performance is achieved.

The main function of this role is to manage all aspects of human resources over the employee life cycle that promote and support collaborative employee relations and achieve local content objectives.

Your extensive IR/ER experience will also be required.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate the resolution of HR issues and coaching of line management to enable skills and knowledge transfer.
  • Deliver transformational and cultural changes in line with the company’s people plan,
  • Provide advice on IR/HR policies and procedures and support managers to effectively implement them within the business.
  • Support and/or lead negotiations for Enterprise Agreements and be experienced in managing employee disputes including Fair Work conciliations.
  • Proactively support Diversity and Inclusion and Indigenous employment initiatives.
  • Comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, corporate policy and ethical standards.

  • Extensive experience working with a Blue Collar workforce
  • Experience interpreting and negotiating Enterprise Agreements.
  • Well-developed conceptual and analytical ability and competent with data analysis
  • A degree level qualification in a human resources management, business or related discipline.
  • Ability to liaise with managers and all staff, adapting communication style and approach as appropriate.
  • Experience in HR administrative work and use of relevant HR/Payroll system; preferably SAP
