Our client has a long and successful partnership with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and are seeking a Commercial Contracts Coordinator to manage and administer the subcontractor activities associated with the delivery of services within their National Defence contract.

 

Influence and lead your region with strong values & behaviours, apply your strong commercial acumen and bring your ability to develop, write, negotiate and finalise a contract and all its documented elements (legal terms and conditions, SOW, pricing/commercial model).

 

This role will have you incorporate the full subcontract lifecycle (end to end), including contract development and establishment, on-going performance monitoring, administrative tasks and overall subcontract management in support of the operations delivery team.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write and establish commercial contracts and agreements
  • Administer and control contract administration activities in a diversified office environment with multi-disciplined services contracts
  • Own the regional subcontract management capability, coordinate and influence effectively all contributing stakeholders and business units (operations, asset management, procurement, finance etc)
  • Responsible for the commercial review and accuracy of all contractors associated with projects
  • Drive strict project controls and adherence to process in the delivery of DBS
  • Demonstrate strong leadership traits that ensures success of continuous improvement and change management programs.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification and significant experience in Contracts Management
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate outcomes and manage expectation with various Stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated written communication and IT skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation, energy, initiative and commitment, with the capacity to deal with multiple and often conflicting priorities.
