The Company:

Skout Solutions is Broadspectrum’s internal recruitment function. We are half owned by Bropadspecturm and half owned by Randstad. So we are in a unique position – an internal recruitment team who are very much part of the Broadspectrum team and work alongside our hiring managers on a day to day basis, but who also have the tools and capability of a large global recruitment company at our disposal.

The People:

You will be joining a small, high performing local NZ team who up until recently have concentrated solely on permanent hiring. So bringing a temp specialist into our team will add a new dimension to the service we provide. We have built in-depth knowledge of the Broadspectrum business and have developed strong relationships with our hiring managers through hard work, openness and regular communication. You will certainly benefit from this situation – essentially you have a group of customers who are waiting an eager for you to provide them with quality temp recruitment. You will also have the support of the greater ANZ Skout Solutions team and the Broadspectrum NZ HR team, both of which are full of experienced, decent, approachable people who will be more than willing to help you become successful in your role.

The Job:

We recruit a wide variety of office and site-based skillsets across Transport, Power, Telecommunications, Civil Construction, Infrastructure maintenance and Facilities Management from entry level roles to Senior Leadership roles. Initially you will be focusing on civil construction temps for the Transport industry, but over time we expect that our temp service can offer value to all divisions of Broadspectrum NZ.  

You:

You may be a high performing agency recruiter whose motivation in their current role has dropped due to repetitiveness, lack of variety or sales culture – maybe you want to apply your skills in a different environment, and feel part of something bigger? You may be an experienced internal recruiter who is excited by the idea of the Broadspectrum/Randstad JV and wants to help us grow the team and explore the different opportunities it presents? You may also be someone with a successful sales background, or experience in a high volume outbound call-centre environment who is wondering what other areas their talents might transfer into. You will definitely be someone who takes genuine pride in doing a good job, finds fun and enjoyment in their work and has a reputation for delivering a great service.  You are also someone who recognises the need to evolve with business changes and you approach change with optimism and enthusiasm.

Requirements:

  • Substantial recruitment experience from the Infrastructure, Maintenance or Construction Sectors will be advantageous
  • The ability to influence, sell and promote
  • A strong understanding of candidate attraction platforms including Job boards and social media will be helpful.
  • Excellent search and attraction capabilities
  • Experience in the use of a recruitment management system will be beneficial
