The Role
Ventia are currently looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our Easternwell contract based in Welshpool. This position will provide administration and commercial support for operational contracts and bids to deliver contracts successfully. 
Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Provide Commercial support and facilitation for bids, including proposal coordination, completion of tariff sheets, commercial departures and adherence to internal governance processes 
  • Effectively plan and facilitate the preparation of bids where lead by the Commercial Team  
  • Maintain tender files, registers and supporting marketing/client material in required formats
  • Support the Operational Leaders with the post-award administration of operational contracts including the facilitation of any deviations/variation of contracts
  • Assist with facilitation of approval for any contractual documents with consideration to the relevant Delegation of Authority and required paperwork
  • Actively instigate and facilitate internal communication regarding contract deliverables, constraints, commercial assumptions and variations
  • Coordinate client and contract communication including using supplier management portals such as ProCon
  • Support the finance team through quality checking of invoices, ongoing communication of contract parameters and key commercial requirements  


  • Advanced Microsoft Word, including knowledge of document compares and track changing
  • Intermediate in Powerpoint and Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Able to show initiative
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work as a team member and autonomously 
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level
  • Strong communication skills including good telephone manner and written skills
  • Self-starter with experience in working in a remotely managed role
  • Possess a high level of initiative and confidence in obtaining required information from stakeholders with demanding schedules
